Frequently Asked Questions

If my insurer excludes me, is my family excluded?

There is no legal requirement that you insure your whole family under a single plan. If you or someone else in your family cannot qualify for insurance, you can still purchase an insurance plan for any eligible family members without major cost mark ups for your medical condition. Even if you can find a high-risk insurance pool or other form of insurance, you may want to research the possibility of purchasing one policy for the healthy members of your family and separate policies for those with chronic conditions.
